Glühwein brownies

Blossa Brownies

Did you know that glögg can be used in baking? Give Blossa Chief Blender’s favorite recipe a try and bake brownies with flavors from Nordic glühwein and lingonberries.


Baking Blossa brownies takes roughly 45 minutes. For 30-40 pieces you will need the following:

  • 250 g butter

  • 250 g dark chocolate

  • ½ dl Blossa Vinglögg

  • 2 dl sugar

  • 2 dl brown sugar

  • 2 tsp vanilla sugar

  • 4 eggs

  • 200 g lingonberries

  • 5 dl flour

  • powdered sugar

  • lingonberries


Follow along these steps to have tasty brownies on your plate in no time!

  1. Melt the butter and chop the chocolate.

  2. Pour the melted butter over the chocolate and mix until the mixture is smooth.

  3. Whip the eggs and sugars until the mixture is foamy. Add the melted chocolate and butter, glögg, and cranberries into the mixture.

  4. Carefully mix and start adding flour into the mixture. Keep mixing until smooth.

  5. Pour the mixture onto baking paper on a baking tray. Bake for approximately 25-30 minutes at 175 degrees.

  6. Take the brownies out when they are still a little soft so that they remain juicy. Let cool. Cut into small squares and decorate with powdered sugar and lingonberries. Serve with Blossa glögg.
