Glubbel Pannacotta
Sparkling wine is not just a wonderful celebratory drink but also something you can use in making pretty great desserts. Follow along to find out how to make a sparkling wine pannacotta using Glubbel Sparkling Glühwein.
Ingredients
You will need the following ingredients to make pannacotta for approximately 6-8 people.
Red jelly
8 gelatin leaves
6 dl Glubbel sparkling glühwein
1 ½ dl sugar
fresh raspberries
Pannacotta
2 gelatin leaves
½ vanilla bean
5 dl cream
1 ¼ dl sugar
For decoration
Freeze dried or fresh raspberries
Spruce twigs
Instructions
Prepare the red jelly first
Soak the gelatin leaves in cold water until soft. Pour the Glubbel Sparkling Glühwein into a saucepan and add in the sugar. Let the mixture warm until the sugar has dissolved but do not bring to boil.
Take the saucepan off the stove and add in the gelatin leaves (squeeze them first to get rid of the excess water). Once the gelatin leaves have melted, stir the mixture a bit and fill the serving bowls halfway with it.
Add a few raspberries into the jelly and set the bowls into the refrigerator for 2-3 hours or overnight to set.
Make the pannacotta filling
Soak the gelatin leaves in cold water until soft. Split the vanilla bean and scrape the seeds into a saucepan together with the vanilla bean pieces. Pour in the cream and sugar and bring to a boil while stirring. When the sugar has dissolved, take the saucepan off the stove.
Squeeze the gelatin leaves to get rid of excess water and add them into the hot cream. Allow them to melt and stir. Take the vanilla bean pieces out of the cream mixture.
Let the mixture cool fully and only after that pour it into the serving bowls on top of the red jelly. Refrigerate again until the pannacotta has set.
Decorate
Garnish with freeze dried or fresh raspberries and spruce twigs. Serve and enjoy with Glubbel Sparkling Glühwein.
