The taste of this liqueur is strong, gently bitter, sweet, rough, and complex with a fresh after-taste. You can find a worthy combination of citrus, bitter herbs and spices rounded with liquorice root.
Valhalla is made from 15 different Nordic herbs that have had to withstand rough conditions to survive and grow. The main herbs in Valhalla are Angelica archangelica (wild celery), Achillea millefolium (yarrow) and Artemisia absinthium (wormwood).
Different herbs are carefully selected, extracted and distilled. The recipe is blended, then matured to allow the unique spices to meld together.
Valhalla can be enjoyed as an ice cold shot, but it has been developed so that it tastes equally good at room temperature. Therefore it's a great drink to take with you on travels and hikes. It can also be mixed with other shots, we recommend mixing it 50-50 with Koskenkorva Minttu or Koskenkorva Ginger. And here comes the best tip: use it for sharpening up a cup of hot chocolate.
