Blossa 22 Hurricane Spritz

Make a delicious Hurricane Spritz cocktail from the Blossa 22 New Orleans vintage glögg.

Ingredients for 1 person

  • 6 cl Blossa New Orleans vintage glögg

  • 6 cl clear apple juice

  • 6 cl Prosecco

Preparation

    1. Fill a Hurricane glass (or similar) with ice.

    2. Measure all ingredients and stir with a long spoon.

    3. Garnish the cocktail with slices of strawberry.

The Hurricane cocktail was invented in the 1940s in New Orleans in the French Quarter at Pat O'Brien's bar. At the time the supply on spirits was limited and there was a need to invent a drink made from the less popular, local rum. Hurricane became a bestseller in the city and still is one today. Blossa 22 New Orleans glögg is inspired by this fresh cocktail.
